Conductor’s Note
Welcome to Light It Up!
We’re so excited to spread some musical brightness to you as we reach the end of winter. Tonight we’re celebrating light, from the natural light of the sun all the way to the people that are lights to each one of us. These choir members have brought me a lot of light and joy as we’ve put together this concert, and I know you’ll be able to hear all the enthusiasm and work that went into the music. We’re also lucky to be joined by some young singers from Sacramento Country Day School on the song “Lights,” and I’m thrilled to have these students sharing their own lights and joy of music with all of us. If you’re interested in putting your own musical light out into the world, consider joining us for our next session, Dance Party! It’s sure to be a lot of fun, and we’d love to have you. Check out our website for more info. I hope you enjoy tonight’s concert and are ready to Light It Up!
